Together with our software development partner HaCon, Kadfire develops and maintains timetable and journey planning solutions for the iPhone, Blackberry and Mobile phones.
These applications allow rail passengers to create, download and store personalised timetables direct to their mobile device. Passengers can also receive accurate, real time travel-update information about train times for journeys across the entire UK rail network.
Timetables for any journey can be saved to Mobile phones and Blackberrys, and then accessed at any time, with or without a mobile signal.
For the iPhone
Our iPhone application lets passengers plan their journey in full by providing route details including interim stops, alternative routes, journeys via other destinations, return journeys and information about specific trains.
The app lets you access information about platform numbers, real-time delays to actual arrival and departure times, cancellations, walking distances / times to the station and remaining time to departure. Making use of the iPhone’s GPS capabilities the app can also identify nearby stations based on your current location.
You can plan and store your favourite routes and destinations and the app also has an auto-history function for past queries.
The application is available for licence by individual TOCs.
